Detached, Fisherman's Holiday Cottage, by seaside, Crovie, near Gardenstown, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. This cosy, former detached fisherman’s cottage, Number 10, is situated in a marvellous setting right on the seafront. Typical of the village, the cottage sits gable end to the sea, a testament to Crovie’s rugged past, built to withstand the winter storms that can occur here. Crovie is built on a narrow ledge with the sea just yards from the door and in the summer it is lovely to sit and look out for the marine life which passes through the area, from dolphins to seals and birds. The Sea can be viewed from the patio. Enjoy the walk to Gardenstown - a similar but larger village, or explore the villages further west, from Sandend to Portsoy and Cullen. Shops and pubs 1.5 miles. Ground floor: Living room with beams. Dining room with beams. Kitchen. 1 single bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. Steep stairs to first floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, both with beams. Some rooms with sloping ceilings.
