Detached Holiday Home with garden Kinsburgh Isle of Skye
Detached Holiday Home with garden, Kinsburgh, Isle of Skye. Spectacular panoramic views and wonderful sunsets can be enjoyed from this lovely detached house - an ideal setting in which to relax and unwind at any time of the year. The pretty enclosed garden completes this attractive holiday property and makes the perfect place for meals al fresco, whilst surrounded by stunning views and countryside.
The pretty town of Portree is the island’s largest town and one of the most attractive fishing ports in northwest Scotland. The harbour is a picturesque sight, crammed full of fishing boats and circled by multicoloured restaurants, where freshly caught fish can be found on almost every menu. Ocean View makes an ideal holiday base for touring this beautiful island, famous for its dramatic scenery, abundance of wildlife and fine restaurants. The wonders of the Cuillin mountain range can be explored - where there is excellent hiking and climbing and makes a fantastic day out for keen walkers - and boat trips can be taken to see otters, dolphins and whales. For whiskey lovers, then a visit to the Talisker Distillery is a must. Organised tours of the distillery can be taken, with the ultimate finale being the tasting of the local firewater. For a true taste of Gaelic culture, the Skye and Lochalsh Festival which takes place over two weeks in mid-July is an event not to be missed. There is something for all age groups to enjoy, and local attractions include Dunvegan and Armedale castles, (the latter is home to the Clan Macdonald Visitor and Activity Centre) as well as ancient brocks dotted around this mystical island. For alternative days out, then boat trips to the Outer Hebrides can be taken via a ferry from the mainland nearby. Spacious living room with electric ‘wood burner’ effect fire and stone walls. Dining-room with stone wall and modern beamed kitchen area with quarry-tiled floor. Conservatory. Utility. Double bedroom. Two single bedrooms. Bathroom/W.C.
