Tigh-a-Creagan is surrounded by croft land, with a large garden, making an idyllic cosy retreat at any time of year. The cottage is light and bright, has direct views across to the Fairy Glen and around to Uig Bay. It is an ideal base for touring Skye and the area is superb for walking, hill climbing, bird watching and boat trips. The Trotternish Ridge and Ben Edra mountain are within walking distance from the cottage and the spectacular Quiraing is an easy drive, as is the sandy beach at Staffin Bay. The nearby village of Uig has shops, pubs, and the ferry terminal for the Outer Hebrides. The island’s pretty capital Portree (20 minutes’ drive) has a good selection of cafes, restaurants and shops. The Northern Lights have been seen from the cottage, and for nature lovers, a golden eagle often flies along the glen to the front of the cottage. A comfortable, relaxing Highland retreat, with superb unrestricted views. Nearest pub/hotel ¾ mile. Step to entrance. Living room with wood-burning stove and rugs on wooden floor. Well-equipped modern fitted kitchen/dining-room with quarry-tiled floor. Shower room/W.C.
