Horsing around on The Saddle Glenshiel Scotland
Horsing around on The Saddle, Glenshiel, Scotland.
High as a kite after completing our last Graham, Biod an Fhithich, we went on to climb the munro, The Saddle, and the resultant horsing around was in no small part due to a drop of Macallan! We walked out the ridge to Shiel Bridge for a memorable if wet day on 3rd July 2010.
The Grahams are mountains in Scotland between 2000 and 2500 feet. Although dismissed by many in favour of the munros, I defy anyone to not enjoy the wonderful Suilven, Stac Pollaidh or Ben Stack. Thanks to my wife Susan for dragging me out of bed on many a morning to climb these hills. She has also completed the Munros, Corbetts and Grahams and I am finding it harder and harder to keep up with her!
