Walk on Baleshare beach, North Uist.
Where better to have a walk in the Western Isles than the stroll along Baleshare beach on North Uist. The enormous stretch of sand makes for a pleasurable outing, with Oystercatchers piping their familiar tunes and the sound of the Skylark reaching you from the machair.
We enjoyed a lovely walk to stretch our legs after climbing Beinn Mhor on South Uist the day before. A truly magical Easter weekend in the Western Isles!
