Capel Fell and Croft Head make a nice short walk near Moffat in the Scottish Borders.

Their grassy slopes make for easy walking although fairly steep.

Enjoyed a nice walk last week taking in the Grahams of Capel Fell and Croft Head near Moffat in the Scottish Borders. Croft Head can be climbed as a detour on the Southern Upland Way in case of forestry work on the lower path.

We really enjoyed our trip to Corsica. It really did remind me of the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye. My wife, Susan, seen here posing on the bridge on the way up Monte Cinto from Haut Asco. Between the Juniper bushes and Pine Trees as well as midges, I felt so at home. At £6 a pint of beer I couldn't afford to stay there long though!
