Spoke to John Bennett who was fishing for salmon near the Sligachan Hotel on the Isle of Skye last week. In spite of heavy rain, the water was too low and no success had been had that day.
John moved to Canada from Scotland many years ago but still returns to Skye for fishing which says something about the quality of a day on Skye.
The Sligachan Hotel is a superbly situated Hotel offering accommodation of all types including a self catering bunkhouse and camping nearby.
