Loch Ossian is one of my favourite places in Scotland. The fact that it's not on any road network makes it the perfect get away from it all holiday destination. You can get there on foot or by catching the train as it heads for Fort William.

It is part of the network of inexpensive hostels offered by the Scottish Youth Hostels Association all over Scotland. They are situated in some of the most beautiful parts of Scotland and provide cooking facilities as well as budget accommodation.
