Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, Scotland, West Coast.
Superb day sailing in June 2009, with Captain Jack, George, Doug, Derek, Eric and my son, Gary on the West coast of Scotland. I've got to admit that travelling to Ardnamurchan by car is a very, very long way, but by yacht it's a brilliant journey!
We had a great day leaving Bunessan on the Isle of Mull to sail past Staffa and lunch at Sanna Bay to the North of Ardnamurchan point, before heading for the fleshpots of Tobermory! We enjoyed the marvellous sight of the
Paddle Steamer Waverley paying a visit to Tobermory on the way to Inverie, Armadale and beyond. We spoke to some keen Waverley enthusiasts in the Mishnish Pub in Tobermory and I reckon I'll give it a try some day!
