The streams on the Cairngorm Plateau spring out of the mountains and provide ice cold water that is a pleasure to drink on a hot day! There was also snow still around to cool down in! The Cairngorms National Park is a fabulous outdoor playground. If you haven't visited it yet, please check it out, you won't be sorry!
