Balmuirfield House makes an ideal situation for a varied holiday to suit all tastes and there are several good golf courses nearby, alternatively for those who enjoy walking, there are many excellent walks to be found in the nearby Angus Glens. For families with children there are plenty of activities in the city to enjoy, from country parks at Clatto and Camperdown, to ice skating, cinema and leisure pool.
A trip to St Andrews and a visit to the HMS Discovery is not be missed, as is the city of Perth and the East Neuk of Fife - each with their own attractions. For a little retail therapy, Dundee’s shopping centres will not disappoint and there are many restaurants and pubs in which to enjoy a well-earned meal or glass of wine.
