Large, detached Holiday Cottage, sleeps nine, Gardenstown, Banffshire, Scotland. This wonderful detached house, The Salmon House, sits directly on Gardenstown Harbour, providing marvellous views from the lounge to the sea beyond. Built in the 1870’s this building was the salmon packing warehouse, net store and boat house for the fishermen of the village. You can walk out the door down to a sandy beach with towering cliffs or walk out on the pier. In the local area are a maritime museum, an award winning aquarium, several golf courses, walks to colonies of gannets, razorbills and puffins and boat tours of the Moray Firth. Whales, dolphins and seals are seen along the coast. Easily accessible are the Castle and Whisky Trails along the River Spey and in the heart of Aberdeenshire.
