Snow Bunting in the Cairngorms.
Very friendly snow bunting on Cairngorm in the Cairngorms National Park!
Ptarmigan on Suilven.
In May on Suilven, the ptarmigan seemed almost tame! Whilst you can normally get very close to them, this was exceptional to get within five feet!
Golden Eagle mobbed by buzzards.
In May this year we were treated to a dogfight between three buzzards and a Golden Eagle at Elphin, Sutherland, North West Scotland. A fair fight?
