View from summit An Stac, Loch Morar, Scotland.
Not the biggest hill in Scotland, but the remote An Stac by Loch Morar provides all that is best in hillwalking in Scotland. The view from the summit was spellbinding, but the whole walk was brought alive by the flora and fauna and wonderful landscape. Seldom have I enjoyed a walk as much, made even more special by the wonderful Oban Bothy waiting for us at the foot of the mountain!
